Roughly three dozen residents were in attendance of the Breckenridge City Commissioners’ meeting Tuesday, May 7 as a response to a couple of items on the docket. The agenda included discussion about the city's zoning ordinance clause that limits where in-home daycares could set up and a presentation from several students regarding bringing back the YMCA.

Other items dealt with swearing in Tom Cyprian, who was up for re-election, but ultimately ran unopposed. He was also named Mayor Pro Tem at the meeting. The board also approved their city-wide goals and objectives for the year.
