County continues cleanup of North Jackson Road property

A property on North Jackson Road has been causing headaches for Stephens County. The property, which fell into their laps after a tax suit, has presented officials with several issues, including a nest of dumping and title discrepancies.
County Judge Michael Roach said the county received a couple of grants West Central Texas Council of Governments to assist with the cleanup of the property, which has tires and trash scattered across the approximate five-acre land. This assistance from WCTCOG was in the form of two trailers; one for the city and one for the county.
