County tax office to be closed for election training

The Stephens County Tax Office will be closed from 8 a.m. to at least 1 p.m. next Thursday, Oct. 6.

The closure is due to election training for election precinct judges and workers in regards to the upcoming November Election, according to Stephens County Tax Assessor-Collector, Christie Latham.

The office will reopen at 1 p.m. the same day.
