Hubbard Creek VFD elects new chief

Hubbard Creek Volunteer Fire Department Chief Tom Claybrook retired from his position with the department Monday, Dec. 12. Following his retirement, HCVFD held an internal election to choose who would take over their official positions.

Carl Huffman is the new Fire Chief with the volunteer department. Amy Judkins will be moving into the Assistant Chief position.

Fire Captains are now Tom Claybrook, Tony Smoth, and Curtis Duggan. Patrick Frishe is the department’s Chaplain.

Nick Reynolds has been named the training officer with Junior Fernandez holding the position of assistant training officer and Phillip Boone as the Safety Officer.
