Letter to the Editor

On behalf of the Breckenridge Elks #1480, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to Sonic, United, Wal-Mart and Chicken Express for their donations to help us make our New Year’s Eve party a successful fundraiser. Also, we would like to thank the many people that came and celebrated with us. The Elks is an all volunteer club that throws its primary support towards Veterans and disabled children; but we also help out in other places in the community like donating to nursing homes, scholarships, supporting our first responders, etc. We have many activities planned for the upcoming year like fundraisers. Without your support, none of this would be possible. Also, a big “thank you” to Higginbotham Brothers for donating sealant to help repair the roof of our building.
