Mrs. Kennedy’s first grade class wins food drive challenge

East Elementary collected over 3,600 goods during the recent canned food drive. The class that brought in the most was Mrs. Kennedy's first-grade class with a total of 557 items. The food will go towards feeding Breckenridge families this holiday.

"We are thankful that so many are pitching in to help this year,” Tammy McGrady, East Elementary counselor said. "The generosity has been overwhelming, and we would like to show Breckenridge just how thoughtful they are to our community and how we can come together to help our families. Our slogan for November is Live to Give. We will be having a drive for December also.”
