Plea cases for the 90th Judicial District: August and October

August 2018:

Raymond Edward Boggess, 31: Bernett, Texas, pled not true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of prohibited weapon, but was found true by the court and was sentenced to seven years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division (TDCJ-ID), and to pay remaining fine and court costs.

Charles Clinton Carey, 58: Breckenridge, Texas, pled true to the allegations in the state’s motion to revoke community supervision for the offense of driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to four years confinement in the TDCJ-ID, and pay remaining fine and court costs.

Strickland Michael Vincent, 38: Breckenridge, Texas, pled true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of possession of controlled substance less than one gram - methamphetamine and was sentenced to 22 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division, and to pay remaining court costs. Roger Dale Norman, Jr., 42: Breckenridge, Texas, pled guilty to the offense of burglary of building and was sentenced to 180 days confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and to pay restitution and court costs.

Zeke Lloyd Smith, 25: Breckenridge, Texas, pled guilty to the offense of reckless driving – lesser Included offense and was sentenced to one day confinement in the Stephens County Jail, and to pay $200 fine and court costs. Cody Brandon Fade, 26: Breckenridge, Texas, pled guilty to the offense of possession of controlled substance one gram or more but less than four grams – methamphetamine and was sentenced to five years community supervision and to pay $1,500 fine, restitution and court costs.

Katie Elizabeth Kunkle, 37: Albany, Texas, pled guilty to the offense of possession of controlled substance less than one gram – methamphetamine and was sentenced to three years community supervision and to pay $100 fine, restitution and court costs.

Brody Wayne Meredith, 25: Breckenridge, Texas, pled guilty to the offense of possession of controlled substance less than one gram – methamphetamine and was sentenced to three years community supervision and to pay $500 fine, restitution and court costs.

October 2018:

Adam Christopher Reeve, 39: Breckenridge, Texas, Pled guilty to the offense of burglary of habitation and was sentenced to 30 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division (TDCJ-ID), and to pay court costs. Reeve pled true to the allegations in the state’s motion revoke community supervision for the offense of theft of property $2,500 or more but less than $30,000 and was sentenced to 22 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division (TDCJ-SJ), and to pay remaining fine, restitution and court costs.

John Claude Garrett, 44:

Breckenridge, Texas, Pled true to the allegations in the state’s motion to revoke community supervision for the offense of driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to six years confinement in the TDCJ-ID and to pay remaining fine and court costs.

Miguel Angel Rangel, 33:

Breckenridge, Texas, Pled true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of continuous violence against the family, and was sentenced to six years confinement in TDCJ-ID and to pay court costs.

Devon Ray Lynch, 23:

Breckenridge, Texas, Pled true to the allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate community supervision for the offense of forgery financial instrument against elderly individual and was sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay remaining fine and court costs; Lynch pled guilty to the offense of forgery government/national instrument/money/security, and was sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ-ID and to pay court costs.

Jordan Charles Szoke 26: Breckenridge, Texas, Pled guilty to the offense of theft of property $2,500 or more but less than $30,000 and was sentenced to 15 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and to pay $1,500 fine, restitution and court costs.

Trey Lawrence Graves, 19: Mineral Wells, Texas, Pled guilty to the offense of theft of property $2,500 or more but less than $30,000 and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and to pay $500 fine and court costs; Graves pled guilty to the offense of unauthorized use of vehicle, and was sentenced to five years community supervision and to pay court costs.

David Allen Loving, 33: Breckenridge, Texas, Pled guilty to the offense of possession of controlled substance less than one gram – methamphetamine and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and to pay $750 fine, restitution and court costs.

Luis Midina Ruiz, 55: Breckenridge, Texas, Pled guilty to the offense of forgery - government/nationalinstrument/money/security and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and to pay $1,500 fine and court costs.

Jonathan David Berry, 45: Breckenridge, Texas, Pled guilty to the offense of theft of cattle/horse/exotic livestock less than $150,000 and was sentenced to four years community supervision and to pay $750 fine, restitution and court costs.
