Russell receives award at state conference

Stephens County Agrilife Extension Agent Sumer Russell received was recognized during the 2022 TAE4-HYDP State Conference held Aug. 2-4 in Odessa.
Russell received the Diversity & Inclusion: Expanding the 4-H Audience award. According to a Stephens County 4-H Facebook post, the award was received for the success of the 4-H After School program at South Elementary.
“I’m so thankful and blessed to work with the youth of Stephens County, the best volunteers, Brian Kight, Rachelle Perry, advocates of Stephens County 4H club and our partnership with Breckenridge ISD (and) Breckenridge South Elementary,” the post states. “Thank you to all who support and allow us to ‘make the best better’ in Stephens County, Texas.”
