Satterwhite completes public manager certification

The city of Breckenridge announced last week that Public Works Director Houston Satterwhite III completed the Texas Certified Public Manager certification.

In a June 8 post on the city’s Facebook page, the city congratulated Satterwhite and stated that program “takes a lot of time and dedication from the participant.”

“The CPM program is a nationally accredited comprehensive statewide management development program specifically for managers in federal, state, and local government and for managers in the not for profit sector,” the post states. “The program takes 12-18 months to complete and consists of classroom attendance, home study and an extensive paper that is written and presented by each participant.”
