Seymore to retire from BISD

Breckenridge Independent School District's Superintendent Tim Seymore announced to his staff and officials on Wednesday, June 19 that he will be retiring, effective Aug. 31.

At the moment, no official action has been taken and Seymore has not released any details to the public. The action will be made official at a future board meeting, which is still to be determined.

Seymore is retiring after 31 years in the field. The Breckenridge American will continue to update the public as more information is learned.
