The Texas Department of Transportation is accepting applications for their 2019 Don’t mess with Texas Scholarship, which will award one $6,000 scholarship and two $2,000 scholarships, according to a release from TxDOT.

The scholarship will be presented in partnership with Keep Texas Beautiful and the Moody Foundation, and will go to high school seniors in Texas who have taken a role in preventing litter in their schools and communities, the release states.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 and all applications must be submitted electronically. To apply, visit the dontmesswithtexas.org .
