Jonesy’s Drive-Thru Beverage Barn at 1618 Hwy. 183 South in Breckenridge will host its inaugural Christmas bake sale and fish fry fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 12.
Proceeds and donations will go directly to purchasing Christmas gifts this holiday season for local families who may not otherwise be able to afford gifts. The event is being held in memory of local Brandi Honea, who passed away Dec. 6, 2021.
Tate Reynolds, Brandi’s mother, said after receiving her tax return last year shortly after Brandi’s passing, she felt called to do something for others, in memory of her daughter. She made a Facebook post last December hoping to find a family in need, and was met with enough donations to provide Christmas gifts for 17 children.
This year, she hopes to be able to raise enough money with a bake sale and fish fry to provide Christmas for other families again.
