Veterans will be honored Tuesday, Nov. 8 , at a celebration planned and orchestrated by Woodson Junior High School students.
The celebration begins at 10:30 a.m. will be held in the Old Gym Event Center (OGEC) at Woodson ISD.
The all-school assembly is meant to raise awareness to the sacrifice veterans have made and to honor veterans. Students at all levels are participating in the event.
Students ask that veterans arrive a little early to sign in so that they might be recognized at the event. Also, a luncheon is planned for veterans and their guests immediately after the event. Please enter through the floor level door of the OGEC, by the cafeteria parking lot.
