WJHS OAP wins first place

Members of the Woodson Junior High School One Act Play came home from Tuesday’s District 21-A Contest with a 1st place win. The winning play, “Why Do We Laugh” was directed by Tacy Ellis.

Jack Sullivan was Best Performer; Chris Overton, Ian Jackson, Carson Bellah, and Jaycee Bordelon were named members of All-Star Cast; Breann Young was named to Honorable Mention All-Star Cast; and Colton Nelson was named Outstanding Light Technician.

Other members of the cast include Mailea Winberly and Mia Hewlett. John Gilmore was sound technician. Other crew members include Kaysen Smith (Stage Manager), Gabriella Herring, (co-manager) and Reanna Lee.
