Stephens County COVID-19 statistics have increased over the past week with 47 individuals confirmed as active cases as of Tuesday, November 24.

A high-speed chase, from Shackelford County to Breckenridge, led to arrests of passenger Jose “John” Hernandez, age 35 from Abilene and driver Randy Guerra, age 32, who currently lives in Abilene, but has lived off and on in Breckenridge.
East Elementary collected over 3,600 goods during the recent canned food drive. The class that brought in the most was Mrs. Kennedy's first-grade class with a total of 557 items. The food will go towards feeding Breckenridge families this holiday.
