SCSO arrest driver, confiscate 52 grams of cocaine

Chief Deputy Kevin Roach and Deputy Trent McLane initiated a traffic stop on a white SUV traveling northbound on US 183 South on the evening on Oct. 22. The driver and lone occupant, Jose Luis Nunez-Rodriguez, was unable to provide any type of identification. He claimed to not speak English and initially only gave part of his full name.

BEDC: Manufacturing facility plans on reopening soon

There is a sign of economic growth returning to Breckenridge after listening to the Breckenridge Economic Development Corporation providing city officials a semi-annual report of the activities of the BEDC. The semi-annual report, submitted by Virgil Moore, Executive Director of the BEDC included April through September of 2020.

If 2020 was a car …

If 2020 were a car, we would have had it back to the dealer fifteen times. We would have had to change out the tires, had to put a new air filter in every week, and had to have the transmission rebuilt. Of course, we would not have bought the maintenance agreement or the extended warranty. We hoped to save money because we’d never had a bad car before. Why waste the money?
