By TONY PILKINGTON
Tryouts for the 10th annual Breckenridge Idol competition kick off today at 9 a.m. with the largest slate of contestants set to tryout since the competition began in 2006. As of Thursday evening, 35 contestants had signed up to try out, according to Sharon Mendoza, director of the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce. “That’s very good. Normally we get 20 to 25 entries,” Mendoza said.
