LeEtta Hill, 84 passed from this life to the next Monday, April 16, 2018. Funeral service with Rev. Glenn Clark officiating was Sunday, April 22, at 2 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Albany Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home Saturday, April 21, from 6-7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

LeEtta Novian was born Oct. 25, 1933 in Merkel, to Barnum Ray Novian and Mary Irene Rhodes Novian. She married J.H. Hill April 28, 1951 in Albany. 

LeEtta worked as a school bus driver in Albany, and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She also was a member of TOPS-Taking Off Pounds Sensibly for over 20 years, and in the club she held numerous offices. LeEtta gladly served in the Red Hat Society for 15 years. She collected Hard Rock Cafe pins and lighthouses. 

LeEtta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five brothers. 

Survivors include her daughters, Pat Swan and husband Billy, Loretta Swan and husband Rick, and Mary Jane Roberts, all of Breckenridge; sisters, Pauline Maker of Lubbock, Christine O’Neal of Lubbock, Frances of Abilene, Margie Hood of Kingwood, Bonnie Loftis of Graham, and Mary Coker of Cain Hill, Ark.; grandchildren, Billy Swan, Lisa Swan, Misty Thigpen, Kristin Walling, Dalton Swan, B.J. Whitt, Trey Hogan and Tasha Hogan; and 11 great-grandchildren.
