Betty Jean (B.J.) Partlow, 64, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 1.

B.J. was born on July 24, 1956, in Norfolk, Virginia to Billy Otto Partlow and Mary Pace Partlow. She graduated from Breckenridge High School, and then received her degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Cisco Junior College.
Later, she received her degree as a Registered Nurse from San Angelo State University. She was employed as Diabetes Educator at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. After moving to Arizona, she was employed in the Surgery Unit as Charge Nurse at Phoenix Baptist Hospital.

B.J. truly enjoyed her nursing career, and in her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling.  

B.J. was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, James. She is survived by a son, Michael Akers of Abilene, a brother, David of Brownfield, and a sister, Marsha Collins of Phoenix.
