Bonita (Bonnie) Sue Harrison, 78, of Fort Worth, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on Saturday, Aug. 21 in Fort Worth.

A Memorial Service was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Hawkins Family Funeral Home.

Bonnie was born to James Howard Harrison & Harriet Jane Truesdell in Breckenridge. Bonnie was a woman with a heart larger than life. Her hobbies in life consisted of reading, sewing, and community involvement, but what she enjoyed the most was taking care of her family. During her life, she was very active in Girl Scouts and Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) where she enjoyed preparing large, elaborate meals. Her devotion and dedication will forever be remembered and greatly missed by all.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers James "Butch" Harrison Jr., R.W. Harrison & her sister Helen Elaine Harrison.

Those who are left to honor and celebrate her memory are her daughters Lisa Simmons & husband Tony, of North Richland Hills; Sarah Darr & husband Archie, of Fort Worth; Suzanne Ban & husband Luke, of North Richland Hills; her son Ulysses Anderson, of Arlington; her grandchildren Miranda Simmons, Natalie Simmons, Nic Simmons, Anastasia Sandel and husband Austin, Bryan Payne, Alex Ban & Arthur Ban; her great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Calhoun & Artemis Sandel; her brothers TJ Gray & wife Cruz of Huckabay & Bob Gray of Odessa; along with extended family members & a host of friends.
