Carla Grace Hall, 65, of Breckenridge, went home to dance with Jesus on Wednesday, March 23. The family is honoring her wishes, and there will not be a service.

Carla was born Aug. 1, 1956, to Francis and William “Bill” White. She spent most of her life in Hobbs, New Mexico, where she met the love of her life, Dairrel “Keith” Hall. They were married June 26, 1981, but later separated. However, their love was meant to be. They were remarried Feb. 1, 2000.

She held multiple jobs throughout her life. However, her passion was being a 911 dispatcher. She started in the late 1970s and eventually found her way back in the 1990s. She finished her career in Breckenridge as a supervisor. She often talked about her love for the job and how she missed it.

Carla is survived by her husband, Dairrel “Keith” Hall; son, Donald Higgins and wife Tonya of Hobbs, New Mexico; daughters, Jessica Hall of Breckenridge, and Rachel Patterson and husband Michael of Abilene; along with the grandchildren that she took so much pride in, Aaron Higgins and wife Viviana, Caleb Goins and girlfriend Peggy Gabriel, Faith Blackwell and husband Nathan, William Hall and wife Rachel, Marcus Foreman, Samuel Higgins, Ayden Patterson, Katrina Higgins, and Grace Patterson. Carla was also blessed with six great-grandchildren; three sisters she loved so much, Anita Hallum and husband Tony, Laura Daly, and Becky Rivera and husband Julian; and her brother, Tracey Stockton and wife Nelly.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandson, William Kain Hall. Memorial donations in Carla’s name can be made to a charity or organization of the donor’s choice and can be left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at meltonkitchens.com
