Charlotte Avis Garret Matzinger, 79, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at her home of 54 years in Cedar Park, Friday, July 18, surrounded by her loving husband, daughters, and other loved ones. A service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 25 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with burial at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Her selfless generosity, compassion, love and unique ability to beautify everything around her will be dearly missed.
