Earl McJimsey, age 90 of Breckenridge, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, surrounded by his loving wife and children. The family will have a private graveside service in the Breckenridge Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary. Earl Dean McJimsey was born Oct. 20, 1934 in Pocasseto, Oklahoma to Archer McJimsey and Willie Nix McJimsey. He graduated from Kilgore High School and then went to work for Mobil Oil offshore. On June 8, 1956, he married Margaret Frank in Kilgore. In 1961, Earl went to work for Baker Tools until his retirement in 1992. Earl enjoyed traveling with his wife, Margaret. He also liked spending time outdoors, fishing and keeping a beautiful yard. Most of all, he loved visiting with his great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archer and Willie McJimsey; and four siblings.

Mr. McJimsey is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret McJimsey of Breckenridge; three children, Kenny McJimsey and wife Tish of Snyder, Monty McJimsey, Pam Stoker and husband Joe, all of Breckenridge; four grandchildren, Adrianne McJimsey, Chase McJimsey and wife Brynn, Markell Duttlinger and husband Josh, Ryan Stoker and wife Carie; and three great-grandchildren, Connor Duttlinger, Weston Duttlinger, Paige McJimsey.
