Emily (Conner) Allen

Emily Allen, age 85 of Breckenridge, passed away Monday, Dec. 2. Funeral services was held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at Morehart Mortuary with Pastor Andy Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in the Crystal Falls Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at Morehart Mortuary. Emily Frances Conner was born May 6, 1939 in Haskell to Elmo Conner and Callie C. Moore. She attended Haskell High School. On Oct. 22, 1982, she married James Orland Allen. She enjoyed her years at Crystal Falls and working cattle with Orland. Emily owned and operated a cleaning business throughout the years. She was an excellent seamstress and could sew almost anything. Emily learned to play the organ by ear and would play and sing in church. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Breckenridge. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two siblings; one son; one grandson; and two great grandsons.

She is survived by her children; one sister; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
