Fedon Starr, 62, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18. The family will be gathering in his memory at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at his residence at 401 N. Jackson in Breckenridge. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Fedon E. Starr was born May 8, 1959 in Plainville, Kan. to parents, Rabel Lee Starr and Ruth Pemberton Starr. On March 4, 1978, he married Jeanette Johnson in Greeley, Colo. Fedon was happily retired, but worked as a truck driver for several years and he loved every minute. He enjoyed participating in rodeo events such as barrel racing, poles and trail competitions. In his spare time, he liked fishing, bbq-ing and watching Broadway plays. Fedon loved God and was a very family-oriented man. He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter and granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Ruth Starr.

Fedon is survived by his soulmate and love of his life, Jeanette Starr, of Breckenridge; one daughter, Crystal Herring and husband Joe Dan, of Breckenridge; two grandchildren, Shianne Berg, Amber Berg; one great grandchild, Juniper Berg; five siblings, June, Alice Jean, Dannie & Bonnie, Lonnie & Tina, Kenny; nieces and nephews, Chad, Amy, Dave, Garrett, Gavin, Gage, Aubrey, Travis, Luke; in-laws, Cindy & Bob, Dwight & Shirley; his dogs, Lady Bug, Festus; and his beloved horse, Grace.

Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness charity of the donor’s choice and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.morehartmortuary.net.
