Jody Watkins went to Heaven on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022. Theadus Joan Hutchins was born on Aug. 29, 1934, in Silver Valley, TX, to Glen and Ileene Hutchins. She resided most of her life in Breckenridge and Coleman, TX. The last chapter, she lived in Granbury, TX near family.

Jody was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Bill J. Watkins and her daughter, Nikki Wells. She is survived by three sons, Keith and Lesley Vaughn of Southbury, CT, Jeff Vaughn of Whitewright, TX and Chuck and Kim Vaughn of Granbury, TX. She had 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Jody, known as Nini by family, had an endearing, genuine smile that brightened countless lives. She was a fiery gal who loved family and friends fiercely. She was a talented artist that created paintings and ink drawings. She enjoyed a wide variety of things from traveling to deer hunting. Most of all, she was our beloved Mother that we will miss dearly.
