John Matthew Boyd, 71 of Breckenridge, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025. His wishes were to be cremated and no service is planned for now. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary. John Matthew Boyd was born Oct. 26, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to John E. Boyd and Virginia Simon Boyd. He was a printer by trade and was a member of First Methodist Church in Breckenridge. Mr. Boyd is survived by his son, Shane Boyd of Florida; three sisters, Elaine Goswick of Breckenridge, Vickie Yarbrough of Leonard, Texas, and Glenda Hasser of Isanti, Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews.
