Marina Perrin, age 62, of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, June 24, after a lengthy battle with MS. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel, with Raul Duran, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Morehart Mortuary.

Olga Marina Duran was born Sept. 13, 1959 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, to parents Filemon Duran and Dora Angelica Rios. On Nov. 15, 1997, Marina married Joel Perrin in Breckenridge. She worked as a housekeeper for many years. Marina enjoyed working in her yard and cooking. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and spoiling them every chance she got. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Luis Duran, Sr.; one sister, Dora Duran; her father-in-law, Gaylon Perrin.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Perrin of Breckenridge; four children, Hilda Rodriguez of Breckenridge, Jose Rolando Rodriguez and wife Danielle of Abilene, Jacob Perrin and wife Jessika of Bedford, Kristen Perrin and fiancé Bobby Weatherford of Bedford; one sister, Melva Nelia de Luna and husband Andres; one brother, Raul Duran, Sr. and wife Maria; six grandchildren, Adrian, Asher, Isabella, Sophia, Graham, Jack, and one on the way; one aunt, who was more like a mother, Olivia Duran; one sister-in-law, Antonia Duran; her mother-in-law, Martha Perrin; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
