Martha Jane McKinnis, 93, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born January 24, 1928, to Virgil L. and Gladys Morgan Milner in Temple, Texas.

She married Ben W. McKinnis in 1953 in Ft. Worth, Texas, and they were married for 55 years. She worked for Texas Electric Service Company in Ft. Worth, the Eastland County Auditor’s Office in Eastland, Texas, and in the Administration Office of the Breckenridge ISD in Breckenridge, Texas, until her retirement and move to Bella Vista, Arkansas, in 1993. She was a member of the Bella Vista Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Jack C. Milner, of Georgia.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Kyle McKinnis of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and Kevin Layne McKinnis of Lubbock, Texas; one granddaughter, Reilly Layne McKinnis of Henderson, Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.

Private burial was planned at the request of the deceased.
