Naomi Taylor, age 83 of Caddo, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020. Graveside funeral services for the family only will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 27 in the Caddo Cemetery with Jim Cox officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Naomi Claudine Truesdell was born Nov. 27, 1936 in Stephens County, Texas to parents John Benjamin Truesdell and Ethel Ruth Gray Truesdell. She attended high school in Caddo and later married Charles Ray Taylor on Feb. 6, 1952 in Breckenridge. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, her family, decorating and was very competitive when it came to board games. She was a member of Elliott St. Church of Christ and loved her church family dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Taylor; four brothers, Orval, Denzil, J.B., and Donald; three sisters, Norma, Clarice and Zella.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her five children, Pam Taylor of Albany, Buzz Taylor & wife Kathy of Caddo, Ricky Taylor, Kay Stone & husband Barry of Glen Rose, Tevian Sides of Snyder; two sisters, Toodle Smotherman & husband Roy of Odessa, Portia Foerster and husband Roy of Lissie; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Breast Cancer Society and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at morehartmortuary.net.
