Patricia Ann Bailey Atkins of Breckenridge, Texas passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025 in Odessa, Texas at the age of 84. She was born to William Roy and Helen Mattie Lucas Bailey on June 25, 1940 in San Saba, Texas. She attended Cherokee ISD. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

Patricia worked in retail and was an amazing sewist, artist, and crafter, sharing her gifts with family and friends. She was a member of Church of Christ.

She was a partner in B&AA Drilling, specializing in seismograph exploration, working all around West Texas, Arizona, Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming, & Utah. She raised 5 sons and later in life, 3 stepchildren.

Patricia was an adventurous soul who loved the outdoors, camping, and traveling. She went river rafting for the first time at age 72 in Colorado, after being flipped from the raft, she sprang up from the river exclaiming, “I am Okay!”, to conclude that multi-state trip she also rode a Texas Longhorn. She enjoyed cruises with family and friends and was always up for any adventurous activity thrown her way.

Patricia was preceded in death by her late husband William Travis Atkins, Sr. on August 8, 1979 and infant granddaughter, Jessica Ann Atkins preceded her death on March 26, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her second late husband Joseph Ezekiel on July 17, 1997.

She is survived by her sons: Timmy Wayne Atkins and wife: Julia of Big Spring, TX, Barry Len Atkins and wife Julie of White Rocks, UT, William “Bo” Benroy Atkins and wife Carol of Breckenridge, TX, William Travis Atkins of Colorado City, TX, Patrick Wade Atkins and wife Monica McGreggor, TX. She is survived by 2 Betty Faye Moore of Burlington, TX and Linda Pauline Bailey of Round Rock, TX.

She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. She will be greatly missed.
