Peter Sroka, Jr., 71, of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, Jan. 14. Mr. Sroka will be cremated and no services are scheduled as of now. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Peter Paul Sroka, Jr. was born June 20, 1950 in Detroit, Mich. to parents Peter Paul Sroka, Sr. and Cecil Lee Green Sroka. He married Joanne Therese Smoltz in Allen Park, Mich. at St. Cabrini Church. Peter worked for Chrysler for over 30 years before his retirement. He loved music from the 1950s through 1980s and especially enjoyed Elvis Presley. Peter was a world traveler, even traveling to Egypt in the 70s. He was proud of his Polish heritage and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Cecil Sroka; and his wife, Joanne Sroka.
Peter is survived by one son, David Sroka, of Detroit, Mich.; one daughter, Lisa Opel & husband Chad, of Breckenridge; one brother, Cecil Sroka, of North Carolina; and two grandchildren, Alyssa Opel and Anthony Opel.
