My precious Bobby went to Heaven at 6:06 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020. It was a sweet, peaceful transition. No more pain. It is his heavenly birthday and was Cody’s 53rd earthly birthday. Terre, Cody and I were holding on to him as he left the restraints of this earth. We were cheering him on as he left. Praise God! He’s free at last. Can’t wait to see him again.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 31 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Genoa Goad, Pastor Andy Rodgers and Joe Stewart officiating. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Robert George “Bob” Clark was born August 22, 1940 in Waco, Texas to parents Harold G. Clark and Florence Alexander Clark. On Aug. 4, 1962, he married Jana Howell at First Baptist Church in Midland. Bob worked as a stock broker and retirement planning specialist with Morgan Stanley for years, but had multiple licenses, designations and titles. He was a Pop Warner football coach, boxing instructor, a member of the Odessa Jay Cee’s and served on the Odessa College Board of Trustees for 16 years. After he moved to Breckenridge, Bob was a member of the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce for 25 years and served on the Board of Directors. He was also involved with Breckenridge Lake Development, opening the Bob Clark Landing in coordination with committee members and local, county, and state officials. Mr. Clark enjoyed Tae Kwon Do ITF, was a second degree black belt and instructor, playing golf and anything to do with cars. He loved the Lord, serving wherever he could, and was gifted in mentoring and teaching. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Florence Clark; and one sister, Margaret “Peggy” Beyer.

Mr. Clark is survived by his loving wife, Jana Clark; two children, Cody Clark, Terre Coble; two sisters, Elizabeth “Cissy” Ward and husband John, Virginia “Choo Choo” Tuttle; one brother, Harold “Bubba” Clark and wife Freida; brother-in-law, Mike Beyer; and three grandchildren, Seth Clark Coble, Casey Luke Coble, Tucker James Coble.

The Clark family wants to thank Solaris Hospice for the excellent care that Bob received for the past eight months.
