Robert Glenn Deaton Jr., 70, of Breckenridge passed this life Monday, January 16, in Abilene. He was born Dec. 22, 1952, to Robert Glenn Deaton, Sr. and Rachel Juanita Poston. He was a US Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marla Fritz Deaton; and two brothers John Claude and Dale Thurman.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert Deaton III of San Diego, Calif.; grandsons, Barry and Karter Deaton; granddaughter, Stephanie; sister, Lecia Deaton Campbell and husband Larry of Springtown; plus numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
