Robert Phipps, age 49 of Taylor, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17 at Morehart Mortuary. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Robert Tremayne Phipps was born April 29, 1971 in Carson City, Nevada to parents Ronald Eldridge Phipps and Dorothy Jean Taylor Phipps. He was married to Karen Baker and worked at Hambones. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Phipps; and one step-daughter, Rachelle Nicole Baker.

Robert is survived by his wife, Karen Phipps; five children, Jacey Phipps, Ashley Phipps, Justin Phipps, Taylor Phipps, Kaleb Baker; four grandchildren, Reyce Phipps, Abel Dodds, Rhylee Corbitt, Joshua Dodds; his mother, Dorothy Phipps; one brother, Martin Phipps; four sisters, Angela Whitehead and husband Dustin, Vanessa Ong and husband Kiet, Yvette Phipps, Dominique Turner and husband Don; and numerous nieces and nephews.
