Rosa Lee Palacio, age 64 of Weatherford, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 7th at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Gloria Riojas officiating.

Rosa Lee Palacio was born May 20, 1956 in Knox City, Texas to parents, Guadalupe Q. Palacio and Matilda Gallegos Palacio. Rosa enjoyed relaxing out on the porch and soaking up the sun with her pride and joy, Peanut, her 15 year old Chihuahua. She loved being active, watering the plants and garden, scrapbooking, journaling and playing with her grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian, mother and grandmother who dedicated her entire life in caring for and providing the utmost care for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Palacio & Matilda Gallegos; two brothers, Ernest Palacio, Guadalupe Palacio, Jr.; two sisters, Sylvia Palacio, Sandra Palacio.

Rosa is survived by her two children, Tim Cortez & fiancée Ashley of Cleburne, Brooke Cortez Rolon & husband Ermelindo of Weatherford; two sisters, Sally Rodriguez & husband Noe of Cisco, Gloria Arriola & husband Gilbert of Breckenridge; one brother, Pete Palacio & wife Maria of Abilene; five grandchildren, Korban Cortez, Payton Cortez, Cashten Rolon, Jace Rolon and Emerie Rolon.
