Ruth Stubblefield Green, 93, of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m, Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Woodson Cemetery. with son-in-law, Chip Pasche, officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Ruth Evelyn Tomlin was born Sept. 24, 1928 in Arlington, to Oscar Tomlin and Geneva Freeman Tomlin. Ruth married Guy Stubblefield on May 1, 1947, in Arlington and they had many wonderful years together until his passing in 1993. She later married Bobby Green in Arlington on Oct. 10, 1998. Ruth worked in the business office at Villa Haven Health and Rehabilitation. She was a previous member of First Baptist Church and later a member of First United Methodist Church. While her daughters were growing up, Ruth was very involved in their activities and was a member of the North Ward Mothers Club. Later in life, Ruth was a member of The Women’s Auxiliary at Stephens Memorial Hospital and a member of The Family Campers and RV’ers Club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy Stubblefield; her parents, Oscar and Geneva Tomlin; one daughter, Connie Lynn Meason; three brothers, Jack Tomlin, Donnie Joe Tomlin and Hubert Tomlin.

Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, Bob Green, of Breckenridge; three daughters, Guyla White and husband Wayne, of Breckenridge, Deborah Wise and husband Steve, of Spring, and Jana Pasche and husband Chip, of Tomball; two sisters, Barbara Fitzsimmons, of Bedford, and June Cox, of Crowley; one sister-in-law, Jerry Ann Wood, of Houston; nine grandchildren, Kirsten Welch and husband Keith, of Lubbock, Guy Craig and wife Sandra, of Fort Worth, Kelsey Otts and wife Sirena, of Breckenridge, Jake Wise, of Boerne, Caley Cooper and husband Ryan, of Broken Arrow, Okla., Clint Pasche and wife Melissa, of Houston, Megan Sandoz and husband Clay, of Tomball, Rob Pasche and wife Katherine, of The Woodlands, and Quinn Pasche and wife Catherine, of Austin; sixteen great-grandchildren, Vivien Welch, Adeline Welch, Jessica Craig, Nathan Batek, Chris Otts, Zach Otts, Abigail Otts, Hunter Cooper, Tess Cooper, Clara Pasche, Emma Pasche, Benjamin Pasche, Ruthie Sandoz, Jeremiah Sandoz, Ester Sandoz, Violet Pasche, and one on the way.
