Sharon Briscoe, 69, of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, Dec. 3. A private graveside will be held in the Caddo Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Sharon Elaine Briscoe was born July 30, 1952 in Fort Sill, Okla. to parents Johnny Lee Briscoe and Dorothy Lee Briscoe. She graduated high school and later went on to attend Texas State Technical College for nursing. Sharon was an LVN for 25 years working as a travel nurse. She had a passion for caring for people and loved animals, especially dogs. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed working around the house and doing yard work. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Leslie Briscoe.

Sharon is survived by her children, Robert “Bobby” Horne, Melanie “Sissy” Blex, Cody “Banjo” Newton; grandchildren, Lance Thomas, Harley and Joshua Horne, Dakota, Phoenix and Kansas Blades, Chloe Blex, Raiann Barfield, Jaiden Jones; nephews, Shane and Brandon Briscoe; and great grandchildren, Aspen, Apheia and Asher Horne, Katelyn, Kennedy, Karsyn, Kane, and Sebastian Blades, and Tripton Jones.
