Sue Barrier, 76, of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, June 27. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 2 at Morehart Mortuary, with Pastor David Ferguson officiating. Interment followed in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation was held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, just prior to the service.

Sue Holder was born on April 9, 1945 in Gorman, Texas to her parents William “Bill” Ray Holder and Hazel Lucille “Peggy” Robertson Holder. She graduated from Breckenridge High School. Sue worked as an apartment manager in Fort Worth for several years and met many friends during that time. After retiring from apartment management, Sue became a tax specialist. She was active in church and had attended First United Methodist Church and Gunsight Baptist Church. Sue loved Thomas Kinkade paintings and enjoyed collecting them and even met the artist several years ago.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Trachelle Dearmore and husband Edgar of Fort Worth; one sister, Nancy Swan of Fort Worth; one nephew, Jason Swan of Fort Worth; and her dear friend, Gloria Curtiss of Fort Worth.
