William “Bill” Brannon

Wed, 08/26/2020 - 5:00 am

William “Bill” Brannon, 74 of Breckenridge, TX, fell asleep in death on August 9, 2020, after complications from a heart attack. He died at home with his beloved wife Jeanie Brannon at his side and under the assistance of Solaris Hospice Care.

He and his wife were comforted by the excellent care of Solaris Hospice to make his final weeks as painless and comfortable as possible. Bill with two L’s, as he would often introduce himself to you was born in

Arizona to Henry and Na tasha Kissel.

Both Bill and Jeanie are part of the worldwide organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended the local Breckenridge Kingdom Hall. They were married for 20 years.

Bill truly loved his darling wife Jeanie as his best friend and took care of her as a Christian husband should. He worked as a school bus driver and wrote articles for the Breckenridge American newspaper.

He also published a book thru Amazon.com called Weight Loss

Through Laughter. Bill would often shop at Cosco for his family but pick up extra items to give to someone in need that he knew, but would not tell of his gifts in secret to anyone.

After taking care of his home and wife and others, Bill loved to talk to anyone about the truth from the bible that gives listeners the strong hope of living forever on a paradise earth, without sin and imperfection, as many bible prophecies reveal.

He and Jeanie believed this promise from the Bible as it says in Genesis 1:28. They both also knew that Jehovah God has the desire and power to resurrect the righteous and unrighteous, according to God’s standards, in fulfillment of the promise Jesus made in Luke 23:43 & Acts 24:15.

Those whom Bill spoke to, who were many, about the Bible knew of his zeal for the truth from the Bible and desire to share it with others. At times, he may have been a little forward, but you knew he was speaking from what he learned in the Bible.

In any case, Bill loved people and the Bible and was faithful to the command to make disciples of Jesus as recorded in Matthew 28:19, 20.

Now he is sleeping in the common grave of mankind and in

Jehovah’s infallible memory, awaiting the resurrection call after Armageddon and into Christ Jesus Millennial Reign to bring him and others back to perfection as God originally purposed for humans.

He is survived by his best friend and wife Jeanie Brannon; Three daughters Angela Farley of Wasilla, Alaska; Jessica Maurhan of Anchorage, Alaska; Lydia Trevelyan of Yucca Valley, California; Four sons Michael Brannon of Tupelo, Mississippi, James Brannon of Oconowoc, Wisconsin, Jeremiah Trevelyan of Eagle River, Alaska, and Steven Brannon of Twentynine Palms, California; along with numerous grandchildren.

He is also survived by all his spiritual family of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Breckenridge, TX congregation as well as all in Texas Circuit 14 and around the world.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 3:00 pm. This will be a virtual Zoom meeting memorial conducted by Mike Gray of the local Kingdom Hall.
