Willis Ray Gee, age 88 of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2020. His family will have a memorial service at a later date to celebrate the life that he lived to its fullest.

Willis Ray Gee was born April 22, 1932 in Burkburnett to parents Willis N. Gee and Cletis D. Matthews Gee. Ray met Will Ann Still in 1949 and they were married in Eliasville on May 5, 1950. He served his country in the United States Navy where he became a pipe fitter. He used that trade as a welder for many years throughout the United States and abroad. In 1982, he went to work for The Reinforced Earth Co. and eventually built a shop in Breckenridge that continues to produce the quality of work he was noted for. He retired from the business in 2004. Ray was an active member of the Elliott St. Church of Christ. He took pleasure in helping others, and enjoyed his involvement with the church. He preceded in death by his wife, Will Ann Gee in 2016; his daughter, Lori Gee Lewis in 2003; two brothers and one sister.

Mr. Gee is survived his son, Anthony Gee and wife Janice of Breckenridge; his daughter, Kelly Blevins and husband Mark of Breckenridge; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
