Early voting in the Nov. 8 general election begins Oct.

On Sunday evening, the WHS Seniors hosted a homecoming dance and almost the entire high school was in attendance! It was great! Every kid danced and laughed and danced and smiled and danced and ate and danced for FIVE hours! It nearly did the sponsors in, but there were absolutely no problems! We have great students! Each one is a winner!

Homecoming week is here but before we get too busy, let’s start with a few birthdays!

In case you haven’t thought about it lately, you have 79 more days to shop before Christmas. That’s a sobering thought, but there are worse realities out there. There are 23 days until Halloween and 47 days until Thanksgiving.

Buy some chances! The float decorating actually began on Monday and goes through parade day! Can’t wait to see the results of this extended time.

This last week has been challenging. Death in the family is always difficult, but as the death comes to those who have been ill for quite some time or who are elderly, one is expected to be “ready.” That doesn’t happen. If you think the time is near, you feel guilty and ignore the warning signs.
