The Breckenridge Bucks Basketball team got off to a big splash to begin the 2020-21 season with two wins against the Abilene Hawks of Abilene Christian Academy, 44-34 and the Bellevue Eagles shootout, 64-42.

The Lady Bucks started the basketball season with two back-to-back wins, but then hit a rut with three losses in a row to Ponder, Gorman and Sweetwater.

Bucks edge Bulldogs, 56-54

With under a minute left in the fourth quarter, the Breckenridge Buckaroos needed a play to seal their home victory. In a collaborative effort, the Bucks defense put the clamps on the Clyde Bulldogs offense to seal a 56-54 win.

Starting strong for the 2020-2021, basketball season did not seem to be a problem for the Breckenridge Buckaroos during the Friday, December 4 game against the Ranger Bulldogs.

Bucks outlast Wildcats, 57-54

With the clock running late in the fourth quarter during the Tuesday, December 8, varsity basketball game against the Archer City Wildcats, the Breckenridge Buckaroos needed a score to cut into the Wildcats’ four-point lead.
