Buckaroo athletes were recently honored for their district performance across softball, baseball and track and field.
The Lady Bucks track and field season is continuing for one athlete who is competing at the UIL Track and Field State Meet in Austin this weekend. Kamden Tidwell took home the regional championship and punched her ticket to the state meet.
The UIL Track and Field State Meet will be held May 14-16 at the Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. Field events for 1A teams will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 16.
The Bucks closed out their season in bi-district with a best-of-three series against the Iowa Park Hawks. The team fell in Game 1 and Game 2 to the Hawks.
Games were held Wednesday, April 29 and Thursday, April 30 at the baseball stadium of Bowie High School and Graham High School, respectively.
