The Breckenridge Junior High School boys and girls cross country teams took second place in the Holliday cross country meet on Saturday, October 17, On a tough course, the Broncos were led by Caleb Cameron on a two-mile course, the student-athlete took second place, individually at 11:40 (11 minutes and 40 seconds).

Team members who followed him included Alex Saucedo, who placed fifth and Carlos Alvarado who placed sixth. The Lady Broncos team

The Lady Broncos team ran a two-mile course, and individually, Destiny Jamison placed third in 13:32. Karsyn Smalley placed sixth and Kaysi Wilcox placed ninth.

“Coach G. and I are so proud of each and everyone of the runners. They worked hard all season and it showed today. These athletes represent Breckenridge with heart, dedication and talent each and every time,” said Breckenridge XC Coach Brittney Goehring. “Go Broncos and Lady Broncos!”
