The Breckenridge Buckaroo junior varsity green team handily defeated the Archer City JV Wildcats on Tuesday, December 8, 64-25.

The JV Bucks jumped out to a quick,4-0 lead after #33 Isaiah Lehr and #5 Damion Mendez scored the first two buckets for the Bucks.

A three-pointer by the Buckaroos made the score, 7-0, and the Wildcats used their first timeout to stymie the Buckaroos momentum.

The timeout did nothing for the Wildcats as the Buckaroos begin to pour it on with an influx of points. The Bucks opened up a 15-0 lead as the Archer City Wildcats were unable to defend the Buckaroos offense.

By the end of the first quarter, the Bucks led the contest, 17-2, and were not attempting to slow down.

A three-pointer by #24 Chicago Harper made the score 24-6 with under five minutes to play in the first half. The Bucks led the contest, 32-6, with under one minute to play in the first half.

By the end of the first half, the Bucks were leading the contest, 37-7.

The Bucks continued to add to their lead and with under three to play in the third quarter, the Buckaroos JVG led the contest 53-13.

Another three-pointer by #24 Chicago Harper made the score, 56-18, as the third quarter ended. Harper finished the contest with 8-points, making two threes in the contest.

In the final minutes of the game, #33 Isaiah Lehr hit two layups after battling for the offensive rebound to make the score, 58-21. Lehr was dominant in the paint and would finish with a teamhigh ten points.

The Bucks JVG won the contest by a score of 64- 25, over the Archer City Wildcats.
