Breckenridge Relays start with BHS track & field events

One of the oldest sports, dating back during ancient Greece, will have its kickoff on Feb. 25 starting at 4 p.m. at the South Elementary School Track & Field.

That’s right, contests for young men and women in the track and field events will be sharing the blood, sweat tears of famous track and field athletes like Jim Thorpe, Jesse Owens, Carl Lewis and Jackie Joyner-Kersee. Running, jumping for height or distance, throwing a steel shot put or discus will be on the menu during the Buckaroo Relays.
