Buckaroos earn THSCA Academic All-State honors

The Texas High School Coaches Association recently announced the Academic All-State teams for basketball, with several Buckaroos honored for their efforts in the classroom and on the court.

The award recognizes students who excel in the categories of GPA, class rank and ACT and SAT performance. 

To be eligible an athlete must be in good standing with the team, of good moral character, a senior and have an overall GPA of 92 or above. 

For the Bucks, Luis Palacios and Michael Harrison were honored on the 2nd Team All-State , while Bry Armstrong received an honorable mention. 

Victoria Martinez was honored on 2nd Team All-State while Preslie Martinez received an honorable mention for the Lady Bucks.
