Buckaroos show strength in Homecoming win over Early

Under the lights of Oct. 25 Breckenridge High School announced their Homecoming King and Queen prior to a dominating performance in a win against Early, earning their first win of the season.

Seniors Rolando Gallegos and Cynthia Huerta were announced before kickoff as Homecoming King and Queen. The excitement did not end there as the Buckaroos were all over the field in a 40-7 win over the Early Longhorns.

The Breckenridge Buckaroos started the game physically, forcing the Longhorns to punt. Owen Woodward got the Buckaroos offense moving with a nice run, but soon after a bobbled ball was intercepted, giving Early the ball at the 27-yard line.
