Buckaroos struggle in the Jerry Tubbs Kickoff Classic
The lights were bright, but the Breckenridge Buckaroos play on the field did not shine. The Bucks lost to the Jacksboro Tigers 35-20 on Friday, Aug. 30.
In a game that featured more than 90 yards in penalties combined and four turnovers, the Bucks play was sloppy.
When Breckenridge took the field, they were faced with a heavy running attack from the Tigers. Jacksboro spent most of the first quarter on offense, chipping away at the Bucks defense. The Tigers got within the 10 yard line and were able to score a touchdown with just a few minutes left in the first quarter.
